Genshin Impact guide: How to unlock the Thunder Manifestation boss
Genshin Impact’s 2.1 update adds several new bosses on to the new Inazuma island, including the Thunder Manifestation boss, also referred to as the Electro Oceanid by players. Our Genshin Impact guide explains how to unlock the Thunder Manifestation, its rewards, and and how to solve the warding stone puzzles.
Thunder Manifestation does not start off on the map, and to make it appear, you need to clear the “Seirai Stormchasers” world quests, which lead you to the Seirai islands and have you investigate what’s going on. To complete the quest, you’ll actually need to defeat the Thunder Manifestation once.
Warding stone puzzles
The Seirai Stormchasers quest line does have a small puzzle in each step, involving repairing warding stones. We’ve listed the correct ways to rotate the puzzle (starting from default position) below:
- Seirai Stormchasers part 1: Rotate the bottom stone twice.
- Seirai Stormchasers part 2: Rotate the top stone three times.
- Seirai Stormchasers part 3: Rotate the top stone three times and the bottom stone five times.
- Seirai Stormchasers part 4: Rotate both the top and bottom stones twice each.
After this, the Thunder Manifestation will be a permanent addition to your world, respawning every couple minutes after you defeat it.
The Thunder Manifestation is a 40-resin boss that drops the usual goodies, alongside its unique Storm Beads, which are required to ascend Electro characters like Raiden Shogun and Kujou Sara.
